so let me introduce you our past month from the view of Carlitos and Eduardo and their improvements
Carlitos:
Carlitos is growing rapidly with the smile on his face
He has 3 teeth bottom and before reaching 10 month, he started to grow 3 teeth up….so start to be big fun to breathfeed him. Every time we have our time, I can feel how many teeth more he got But lovely. It will never come back
He is eating already 4 times per day. He has breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and also dinner, Rest of the time he has still his loved milk. He is very well eater, he is able to consume about 300 ml of food. Which is a lot. He started also with peaces, It is funny to see him how he is enjoying pasta, or roll……it is everywhere, but he is loving it. He loves to be trying new things and also new tastes. Which is great……I am looking forward the time when I will be cooking only one things for all of us. But luckily I have big helper Edie, who is cooking and preparing with me. Big Chef
Carlitos biggest toys: small balls in the playgrounds, football ball in our home. He is able to be chasing it for hours all around our home. In this sense his behavior seems for me like of grown up man, because they are able to be running after “something” until they will not get it His another favorite game is to take stuff out of shelf and draws. Edie did it a bit, but Carlitos masters this. So we used to have in the end of the day on the ground everything what you can imagine. Boxes all around, clothes from the draws, he is resorting my pots in the kitchen……….and simply seems to be that he just prefers his own order rather than mine. Mom you have it wrong!
Carlitos is very social. Especially today I realize how lucky I am. We spend half of the day in the huge indoor kids playground place. And Edie he was running with the older kids in the big slides and tunnels and Carlitos was with smaller once crawling all around. He just called me while he was hungry or had “full diaper”. Otherwise he was making new friendships with other kids and adults. Nice I have time for coffee and nice cake
Since he likes music, he is reacting on it if I start to sing or play radio. And he is very social. So I felt to give him more chance to join some activity which will combine these two atributes. So we joined Yamaha Classes (see the video) in KMC (Cultural and Maternity center Knoflik) here close by of our home.
And last but not least thing, Carlitos is about to walk. He is standing on his own without help and we are just waiting for him to do the first step, so lets see.

Eduardo
When I was thinking what everything has happened in his last month I am thinking more in stories, so in that case let me say you few:
snow time
Every time I am coming for him and picking him from kinder I hear: Nechci maminku, Nechci domu (I do not want mami, I do not want to go home). So I guess that he is happy in the kindergarden and that he is enjoying his time there. Already during the weekend I am usually listening, Let’s go and see our teacher! …..you know primarily I felt bad, that he does not like me, or that he does not like the time with me. But now I stopped to take it personally and I am more happy that he is enjoying there and that I do not have to be suffering while leaving him there.
Eduardo’s big friend is called Vojta Vomacka. They are very good friends. Vojta is few month older. He is born in September so from Edie it is 5 month. Though he is not any bigger by size. But he is a bit stronger and faster. The curious thing is that they are either playing nicely together or beating each other. With full passion. And even they beat each other in few minutes after they are best friends again and they want to be together playing.
Edie love aunties and their kids. He loves to spend time with our friends so what I feel is that we are much more start to make reunions with other families. Our nice friends are family Martinez with their two kids. Sabina age 3 and David age 6 month. So they have very small difference with our kids and also their couple is mixed. Father is from Colombia and mom is Czech close to Ostrava. We are sharing similar life style, I go with mom Hanicka to play tenis so we can keep fit as well And Edie with Sabina and Carlitos with David are enjoying their time nicely as well.
I tested with Edie his joy from cooking. I took him for cooking lecture. It was more or less successful, He enjoyed to be mixing pudding and soft mixed drinks. But I had feeling that it is early for him to do some organized activities.
Edie is great observer. He loves to be watching other kids while they are doing some activity. For example, he was very nice during the performance of yamaha classes in theatre, he love theatre in general. The atmosphere is able to drag him and make him calm. While I asked him if he would like to attend these classes and be performing like other kids he said NO. So i has time. Same experience we got while going skating with him. When I asked him to try it with me, his answer was NO. But he was happy to be watching me and other kids skating. So I will be happy to find activity he will enjoy in the future. Seems to be for me that he will join activities while having friends involved as well.
Thought Edie proved to be fighter and persistent. I like that he is enjoying his bicycle and we are cycling even outside is lot of snow. He fall many times and also many times stood up. But still he wanted to keep going. So it looks for me that while he enjoyes some activity he is able to keep on. I think.
The less unconfortable think is that he is still fighting with Carlos. We do not know why but he prefers only momi. He is pushing him away if I am close by. He does not want to speak Spanish unless I start to speak too.Many times he is really not nice to him and I see Carlos be down by that. But only reason I think is that he does not have enough time spend with him and that Edie does not have that much opportunity to have fun and possibility to create strong connections with him. But who knows!?
Another trouble time is when Edie has his “agains everything time” Sometimes is in the morning, as my mom is saying “he woke up with his bottom up” sometimes is when he is tired or hungry. Or when he wants something and I do not want to give it to him or allow him to do something. Then he start to be fighting with us, saying NO for everything and be in opposition. While reaching this moment He is driving me crazy. And I have to say that now only once my nerves get big hit so he got punished. But after he was fine but my internal feeling was not nice. I know that I need to show him respect to me and that sometimes this is the way to tell him “that is enough” but it is hard. So once I speak about this moments with my friend. Which has same problems with her son. And she told me something what I started to apply and it works. You know Zlata:“When my son start to yell that he wants something or he tries to go agains wall, as we say. I just let him to prove that is not possible. I let him to yell out and I am just thinking that in that moment he feels worse than me and that this behavior is not against me. So at least it helps me to stay calm and not with the feelings I want to kill him NOW” And yeah I tried to think that way and it helped me to stay calm in the moments when I would already hit him to wake him up from his agony. And whole situation resulted in piece on both sides.
So what I have learned: As much as mom stay calm and cold head, the child calms down, eventually, and whole situation can be solved in piece without harming any of the sides. Contrary, if I let him to make my nerves explode, I get very angry. This anger is transmitted to the child and his anger multi plies itself and in the end all of us are crying. So just try my approach and you will see. Hopefully it will help you same way as it helped me.
Now we are already waiting and in few more days Edie will reach his 3 years Bday. So we are preparing celebration for his big day:)

Since I am lately not managing to write the posts on time, I try to remind myself by pictures what have happened that time. Though this month was special just because it was Christmas time, because of our New year Eve party with Checo-Latinos friends, because we have spend our first Christmas as only our family and also because I ended my work in Skupiner.cz and focussed fully on Lyoness.
And in the meanwhile Carlitos was growing and unbelievable improving his skills
his weight is now 8,150 Kg and still growing
He is crawling perfectly
He started to sit on 24th of December, he probably decided that to keep checking the presents is good by sitting among them as one of them
He grown one more tooth, so now he has 3 of them,
He decided also to stood up and he is about to walk
He is still very smiley baby and he will always be as I see. He loves to be caressed by me, he loves to be carried too to see what is happening
He is not that kamikaze like Edie was, he is more careful and even though he loves to observe Edie jumping and making crazy stuff, he is rather sitting and being calm. If i try to through him into the air he looks scared.
Even since little they have such different personalities. Carlitos is calmer, but bigger pain cryer. Edie while punching himself cried always just a bit and then he contined playing. Carlitos not. He wants to be hugged, touched and maybe after a while he will stopped. He is we called it “Mr. Bolistka”
His favourite toys are Tupperware boxes which I have in the kitchen shelf prepared for him and also draws. He loves to be opening them and closing all over again and again. He also loves to be hitting the floor with something hard so that it can make loud sounds.
Now he is eating 3 meals per day, He is eating a lot, more than 300g vegetables and fruits, he likes mainly everything and he preferes things which I cook for him rather than can food. And no wonder
Regarding to a sleeping. He is able to fall a sleep on his own during the night. During the day he goes once maximum twice per day. In the morning just sometimes, usually he has nap after lunch. During night he is still waking me up 3 to 4 times. He want to know if we are there. I try to feed him only 2 after midnight and then in the morning. Though he is night bird. He is able to stay until late night. During the new Year party he was up until 10pm with the smile and keeping active.
Edie and his life path
Edik is a very nice boy, growing and improving many skills
He still drives us crazy because of his crying mode, always if he does not want something he starts to cry a lot but we try to be resistant
He loves kindergarden KMC Knoflik now, so I always hear from him that we have to go to see the teachers “deme za pani ucitel” and if I am picking him up he is alway welcoming me with words “I do not want mamy, I do not want to go home” every day the same story. So I start to think that I am a Herodes.
Edicek also started to communicate more and he loves to read books. Before going to bed we try to read him every night. It is demanding but I love his gase, his staring eyes which keeps sliding on my face and are ready to hear the stories which I am creating. He likes also singing but sometimes he just ssssss mum and puts the stay quiet sign on his face. So I respect that too.
He loves to read letters so I went with him through the ABC and by linking different words to the different syllables he will soon be able to recognize most of them.
Edi has already his characteristical behavioral patterns which are also sharing with me his teachers from kinder and it is given on our family behavior. For example if he shows affection he is licking another child od he tries to kiss him/her or he tries to go close enough to touch by noses.
Affection towards Carlitos is shown also by lickig his face, chewing his hands, riding him as horse, playing with him. Doing hide and seek. And in general I have to say that if Carlitos wants to cry Edie always tries to come with something silly to cheer him up. Carlitos sometimes has total laught attacts because of Edie which makes us laugh too.
Edik is also very attached to his grandfather Josef, my dad. Always if I mention his name he want to call him, to be with him and do silly stuff in general. Dad is also a great grandfather he is teaching Edie all the forbidden fun stuff, such as “plazit jazyk” , roll the stairs on the bicycle, jump over stuff, destroy something, eat tons of chocolate etc. Simply spoiling him as grandfather. I can also see how attached they are by the invisible connection.
Edie and his dad Carlos. They are very good friends. Edicek though has many times momities so only me can help him to go on toilet, to bath him, to feed him to read him books etc. There is nobody in the world and he does not want dad to do it for him. But if I am out of home they are the best friends. Playing together and he is following Carlos nicely. But if I am at home……..achhh momiiiii ONLY YOUUUUUUUU…..I think that most of the mothers understand.
And story is over, I mean this month story, the other ones are being written by every day and I am just sometimes sad that I can not share everyday moments, because if I am just observing how my angels are growing under my hands it is unbelievable. And I believe that one morning I will turn and I will be already a grandma which will be reading this lines with grand kids and just having fun about their fathers………..
Half year and more that 2,5 year report of our angels
…..achh finally I have some spare time to write few lines about our guys, so lets be breaf and now I will try to let pictures and videos talk on behalf of me Imagine that
Carlitos 2 last monthes of his life
Carlitos weight is currently 8 785 g and his length is 72 cm……I was just wondering that I can not fit him into most of clothes which belong to his age
Carlito is still very smily and very talkative, he started to do grrrrr and also he is screaming like the root of mandragora, if you remeber Harry Potter movie, so exactly like those little things which make you def
As we know he was already turning but now he added also few falls from the bed (I know mean parents) and the recent movements are that he is training to hold on his four and by jump he is moving forward, it is quite funny to see him how much is he enjoying the life from this position
He loves but really loves to be caresed, kissed, touched, tuli tuli and simply while we are spending time with him, talking to him and showing different things. He also loves to observe Eduardo and many times they are just playing together. Or if we can call Eduardos crawling over Carlitos games as games But usually both are smiling.
Carlito started already to eat, he had his first spoon of carrot, he looked surprised but he was not refusing, but still he preferes booobie, and his milk
From his travelling adventures he visited Budapest together with me and Carlos on my 28th Bdays and he celebrated with us by attending the huge conference of Lyoness Sensation.
In general he loves to meet people, to do something, he loves strangers and he likes a lot smiling women. If there is some women which wants to play with him and smiles at him he is giving back all his smile
Carlitos loves mirrors, he loves his picture and he is able lo laugh loudly on himself.
Simly he is social, talkative, smily and very cute

The last measures were 13 kg and exactly 90 cms
Edik survived moving of his things to the Prague, considering that he did not understand what was happening, I now can start to understand more the feelings of the kids of parents which are getting divorce because they feel uncertain. Eduardo was also overstimulated and manytimes he was reacting more attached to his things, like we are taking everything from him and he does no know why. Also that I was going to Prague and moving stuff only with Carlitos so he was a bit lost. But now he is happy back with his things
Eda started to attend kindergarten, he loved that since the first moment and after some time he is the one who is provoking the others and he is a bit the rebel as the teacher told us. Not all the time but sometime he just like to challenge us.
He became very skillful. Finally he is telling us eveytime he need to go to pee or pooh so he is 100% fine, just at night we used to give him diaper for his comfort. He loves to do everything on his own to put his shoes, to dress himself, to put shirt and socks and dress jacket and cup. He does not like to feel cold and start to be a bit more comfortable.
The words I always hear since early morning is pisek (sand), moto (motorbike), masinka (train) and caj (tea). He is speaking mostly in Czech but adding more and more words in Spanish. I like when Carlos is talking to him amd explaining things in Spanish because that way he is learning the most. So he is saying mariposa and azul as his favourite words and he can understand a lot what is he saying just doest not speak that much yet.
Edicek is simply independent unit, he likes to play with strangers and he does not like them in the same time. He does not enjoy much changes, while we are together he loves to stay with mom, but if I am going with him out together with Carlos he is fine with exploring new places and meeting new people.

A little bit of statistics and facts:
He was born on 23.4. 2011 ( Edie was born on 23.2. 2009)
His weighted 3050 gr. and his length was 50 cm.
The time of his birth was 13:30 (Eduardo was born at 13:45…….nice coincidence).
When he was born he was crying, but they put him close to my face and he stopped. Probably he smelled me and could recognize me…….. such a wonderful moment that I started to cry.
Carlito was sleeping since beginning even 3-4 hours, something I did not experience before, I could even read a book in the hospital, something amazing for me. And instead of being stressed I very much enjoyed every moment with him. I was even helping other moms who were with me in the hospital. So curious. One was 36 and the other 39, both had their first child and both were a bit out of experience. Of course….. there is big difference of having the first and the second baby.
He has nice dark hair and big dark eyes. His skin color is closer to Venezuelan mix, as I would call it. He is not white like snowflake, like our babies in Czech Republic tend to be.
I did not want to compare, but can not hold myself. His look is very close to Eduardos. But he has my shape of lips and his head is a bit smaller with oval shape rather than rounded like Edie had.
His palms are not closed, he is having them videly opened and he is very strong. He usually grabs everything what is close to him.
He is holding his head more than fine. He is turning it to be able to see the whole interesting world around him. Definitely his curiosity is big and he loves to be exploring the world.
Luckily I have milk since the second day, so I am feeding him. In this time I do not suffer from nipple pain, at least not that much like with Edie. And I have more milk. So for Carlito it always takes only few minutes cca 5-10 to be feeded. Edie used to drink like 45 min. and then he was resting 15 min. And everything all over again.
Carlito is sleeping more on his own, in his bed. But during the night I have him with me in our bed, just to have him close and have easy time for breastfeeding. And also I don’t want to miss contact with my little angel. it is easier to control him if he is alive and sleeping and keep him warm.
And what did he experienced so far?
In his first week we took him for witch burning, since his grandma and grand-auntie from Venezuela are here on a visit, so we went with them.
He visited his both grandparents every weekend, in Brno and in the countryside (Javurek)
He visited Prague, to be presented at the Venezuelan embassy, since we want him to be registered as Venezuelan citizen too
He went with me for one business meeting in the company Anamax, which does HQ movies
And he spent most of his time with his brother Eduardo who loves him very much. Eduardo is really happy when we let him carry Carlito and he is huging him all the time.

I think that Carlito is happy to be with us, he is smiling many times. I hope that you will enjoy our short story. That you will see that life is going on and many things can be managed with one, two and maybe in the future with three kids
Carlos has a message for you, since he was 4 days old he was smiling. There is nothing more powerful in this world that a smile and having a positive thinking. If you will keep your mind open and a smile on your face, believe me that many positive things will come to your life.
That is the count down of one year life and believe me in the early age of our life this is one of the most exciting time with highest speed of development.
For me it is just like yesterday when Edie was born and I hold his little shaking and very fragile body in my arms. It is just like yesterday when I welcomed him in this world.
He was born in the Czech Republic, but his life is already connected with three continents. Because half of his prenatal age he spend with me in Thailand, after he spend 6 month is Czech and than he moved with us to Venezuela (Latin America). I would love to have his childhood also, believe me. It is colorful, adventurous and diverse.
But let me tell you what is new in his life and how we were celebrating his Bdays.
Edie has now 77 cm and 9 Kg
He is receiving mother milk only in the morning. I still keep this beautiful moment for us and hopefully I will be still able to breastfeed him for some time. Although my lactancy decreased a lot so lets see. During the day he is eating what we are eating. He has days when he eats a lot and then he is something like “poo machine”. His “outs” are more than his “ins”. But he eats about 6 times per day. Breakfast (oatmeal, or arepa, or bread with cheese, tomato or fruits), snack (creckers, fruits), lunch (all what we have), snack (fruit), snack (joghurt or compotas), dinner (some creamy soup or puree). He drinks mainly water, but also he is trying everything what we drink (natural juices, milk, flavored water – just a little I do not like to give him sweets).
He sleeps very well at night. He had his routine. At 7pm dinner, around 8 pm bathing and after we just put him to his bead. I sing a song and he falls a sleep. The time of carrying is over. He is just waking up because he is thirsty. Especially here in Venezuela is now very hot (more than 30 C) so he is asking for water. He drinks and falls a sleep again. He wakes up at 5 am and then I take him and let him drink milk and be cuddling with me in the bed.
He loves to play – there is no change and now we started to go to baby gym. He loves to spend time with other kids so I try to be out with him as much as possible. He also loves water and on the beach he spends most of his time playing in the sand. He likes his texture and taste. He is able to play nicely on xylophone, he is able to twang the strings of guitar. He loves music and now he is always swinging his body into rhythm of music. It is fun to see him dance. He tries to draw with crayons, but he is eating them too so I have to control him while doing art stuff. He loves to put tops and closures to different boxes, bottles and everything what has some top. I let him. He loves to take things off the box and put them back (this is the good part). He is rather organized. And he loves to play “hide and seek”.
His motorical skills are improving. He is drinking from his bottle with holders on his own, he tries to feed himself alone. But i have to help him to pass the spoon to his mouth. He tries to drink form glass (but mostly he is so far blowing in than drinking) and from bottle. He likes to play with cutlery, and any kids of things which are given to his hands. He is trying how the things works.
He is able to stand up on his own, to slide down from the bed and stairs, he is walking around the things by holding them and with support he is trying to walk as much as possible.
He is very social. But very attached to me as mom. Not so many people can carry him and for long time. Even he does not want to go to hands of his dad, grandma or Sandy. He is holding me tight most of the time somebody else wants to take him. So I became his personal carrier and believe me or not “he is heavy” so my back suffers a bit. But I consider it like a training. Because when I feel his little hand holding my arms I forget every pain for this feeling. He loves to greet people. He is waving on the streets to people which give him back smile. And he is flirting with nice girls on the streets and when they smile at him he became shy and hide his face on my chest. It is such a cute moment.
He is very sharing person. When he eats or chew something what he likes he always offer the things to others to eat or chew with him.
He is not talking. Although he is trying. Sometimes we are guessing that he said something in some language. But he is saying still mamma, memme (this means all other things, thirst, hunger). He is “juuuud and wowed” by things. I heard him to say baf like a dog and huiiiii like horns of the police car.
He is learning fast. I am giving him about month to learn how to walk. Lets see his improvements.
Edie is wonderful child, sometimes crying too much but it is just because he want to go out or to do things on his own and I do not let him. I strongly believe that I have to show him already now where are limits for his behavior otherwise he will be abusing our benevolence and liberty. He understand perfectly the word and meaning of “NO” but depends only on his mood if he wants to follow or not. We just have to be consistent.

Whatever you do may seem insignificant to you, but it is most important that you do it.
Today I am going to write about new improvements which Edie did but before I have to share with you more about the title “lost virginity”.
Edie as most of the guys has common problem with his acrobystia. Since in the Czech Republic doctors are solving this issue much later, I let this topic go and was not bothered by that. But over here when we visited our new paediatrician for first time he immediately warn us that closed acrobystia can mean big issue for his future and as older he will become more painful can the opening of acrobystia (foreskin), So today he became big guy because after the application of anaesthesia cream by few soft movements of doctors hands he is not “virgin boy” any more
OK that was the entrance story but what is new in Edie’s life:
his weight and hight did not change he has still 8,1 Kg and 73 cm which is in one point alarming because he should have gained about 200 g but on the other hand I am not surprised because he is unbelievably active a. His day is full of playing, crawling and sweating.
He is eating almost everything he enjoys the most empanadas con carne mechada (local corn pancakes with shredded meat),also he likes local fruit, yoghurt, and everything what I am currently chewing or putting to my mouth.
He is still very social although he started to recognize much more who is his close person and he is very much tight to me as mum now. He can stay with strangers for some time but after the while he start to be impatient and is asking for mumie.
Edie is fast like hell. I have hard time sometimes when we are crawling together to catch him up,. But on the other hand he is still looking for me when he crawls to far from me and can not see me. He is able to crawl up the stairs, when he is having hand support there is no problem for him to stand up. But so far he can not walk and keep standing for long time.
Exactly on the day when Oliver and Kadi (our friends from Estonia came to visit us)I found in his mouth 2 teeth.So I have two wishes in one time. These are no. 1 and 2 left down. They are cute and he is not biting me.
I am still breastfeeding although I can feel that i am loosing my milk. .Now I feel more just like natural pacifier and most of the food he is getting by spoon not anymore from milk.
He is constantly repeating words such as memme mammy, papapap and babaab. We are still beting which other language he will start to use.
He started to grasp things properly with his first finger in position against the rest of other fingers.
His association also developed. He start to imitate movements which he sees and and he is taking from my hand everything what I used just to see how the things works.
Now in Venezuela is time of dengue fever, water diarrhoea and different flues so we have to be careful because of mosquito. I love my son very much and I would not be happy to have him sick.
